Parker Submitted on: November 4, 2009 Subject: DMSA + Glutathione Question: I am a 54 year old female with a high mercury level, cadmium, nickle, and thallium and was given a drug called mercaptex dietary supplement with DMSA by Prothera, three days on and 11 days off I also was given 2ml Glutathione injections 2xper week. My questions is Can you take DMSA with Glutathione. I heard that this can be dangerous. Thanks lexusdeb@att.net Dr. Cinque's Answer: There is some controversy as to how effective glutathione supplements are, but I can't imagine why it would be dangerous to take it with DMSA. |
