Subject: polysorbate 60 to drink?

Question:
I would like to know if there is polysorbate 60 to drink

Dr. Cinque's Answer:
I have never heard of a polysorbate 60 product to drink, but I do know that polysorbate is added to salad dressings and other products as a thickener/emulsifier. So, you can consume it. However, for the purpose of hair preservation, I don't know that it would do any good to drink it. Polysorbate neutralizes dihydrotestosterone in the hair follice, but I don't know if it would get there by drinking it. Let it be known that our polysorbate is not for oral consumption.
