Questions and AnswersQuestion No.: 19120 Submitted By: Bob Submitted on: June 4, 2009 Subject: DMG vs. TMG Question: Doc... Could tell me the difference between DMG and TMG. I'm taking a (GMP)certified "energy"supplement that contains about 200mg DMG, Inositol, Taurine, Ginseng/ as well as 20mg COq10. However the first 2 days I've actually felt kinda "more lethargic". Although honestly, I hadn't slept very well the night prior. Coincidence? I just don't know what to expect. Any ideas? Thanks... Dr. Cinque's Answer: DMG is dimethylglycine and TMG is trimethylglycine. So, it's the difference between 2 methyl groups and 3 methyl groups. A methyl group is CH3. |
