Question No.: 19080

Subject: what to take with DMSA

Question:
During DMSA chelation, how and what should I be supplementing with to replace minerals/ Vit C that is lost?

Dr. Cinque's Answer:
The most important thing is to take a comprehensive multi-mineral suppplement such as our Advanced Essential Minerals. That's because DMSA can wash out the good minerals as well as the bad (mercury and lead). And many people take lipoic acid with DMSA because lipoic acid also has a chelating effect. Lipoic acid is one of my core supplements so I am taking it anyway.
