Questions and AnswersQuestion No.: 19039 Submitted By: Lonnie Submitted on: May 19, 2009 Subject: congestive heart failure Question: I had congestive heart failure in 2005 and i have had pneumonia 3 times. As a result of these conditions, i am constantly experiencing shortness of breath, no energy, and swelling in my feet and lower legs. Please advise. Thank You Lonnie Burdette Dr. Cinque's Answer: It sounds like you still have some congestive heart failure. I can't lay out a blueprint for CHF in a forum like this. But, I will say that I strongly object to the standard medical treatment of CHF, which involves diuretics, heart stimulants, and other drugs which only mask the symptoms and invite complications. CHF is definitely a condition that is better served by seeing an alternativist M.D. |
