Question No.: 18388
Submitted By: AN
Submitted on: June 21, 2008
Subject: stress reliever

Question:
You have been extremely helpful in all matters of questions being answered. We all live with stress. There was a product on the market at one time that was named Streess Tabs supposedly to combat the ills of stress. Is there a product that you would recommend to use to combat stress or is there a combination of sorts to take? Also you mentioned a product which seems promising in that it has everything except Arginine. That product is called Men's Virility Power. Where can you obtain that? Thank you for your help and continued wisdom.

Dr. Cinque's Answer:
Thank you for your kind words. Men's Virility Formula is put out by a company called NOW, and it is an all-herbal libido formula. I like the way it is formulated because it uses safe and proven ingredients, and it's also very inexpensive. You can find it online from various sources, and it's also available at most health food stores. Most of the Stress Tabs that I have seen are based on taking high doses of B vitamins. I'm not too enthused about that, especially if the person is already taking a multivitamin formula, which surely has B vitamins. Enough is enough. However, I am very enthused about Sun Theanine, which is the amino acid from green tea which has a calming, relaxing effect without inducing drowsiness. For a person under stress, it's the very first thing I would think of.
