Question No.: 18372

Subject: hypertension drugs and ED

Question:
I take blood pressure medication and it seems to affect erections are there any supplements that will help?

Dr. Cinque's Answer:
Many of those hypertension drugs, including beta blockers and calcium channel blockers, are notorious for causing ED. I know that if it were me, I would not be content to just take something else to help with my erectile function. I would be looking for a different way to deal with my blood pressure. I honestly do not like any of the drugs that are used in Medicine to treat blood pressure- not even the diuretics. But to answer your question, we have an excellent product called Natural Libido Enhancer, and there are similar products that are also good. And I have no reason to think you couldn't safely try one of them. But again, I would take it as a sign that you are not fixing your blood pressure in the right way.
