Digestive Aids
Good digestion is the foundation of good health. The most nutritious foods fail to deliver their bounty unless they are properly digested. Moreover, digestive disorders can affect other body systems, such as intestinal yeast overgrowth leading to skin problems and other problems. To foster good digestion, do the following: eat mostly whole natural unrefined plant foods; eat slowly and chew your food well; eat only when you are calm and relaxed; avoid digestive irritants such as coffee and alcohol; avoid overeating; and avoid snacking and late-night eating. Lastly, smoking is extremely damaging to the digestive tract. The products listed on this page have all been shown to support the digestive system.
