During nighttime bombing missions, WWII�s RAF pilots were exposed to bright
flashes of light followed by long periods of inky blackness. After eating
European blueberries, pilots reported their vision much improved. In the years
since, bilberry extract has been researched and found to help circulation, eye
fatigue, night vision, and capillary fragility. VRP's Bilberry Extract
provides a minimum of 25 percent anthocyanosides, bilberry's active
ingredient. Anthocyanosides fight free radicals, support the collagenous
structure of the eye, and help improve night vision.
Black currants have been added because they contain particularly high levels
of anthocyanosides as well. These antioxidants not only support eye health but
also maintain healthy blood sugar levels, protect against DNA damage, bolster
immunity, and enhance circulation. In human trials, black currants have
eliminated the visual decline and shoulder stiffness that often occur in
computer users.
Each capsule contains 80 mgs of Bilberry and 50 mgs of Black currant.
