Water-soluble Vitamin C, a proven antioxidant

This powerful antioxidant helps protect cells from free radical damage and is
required for collagen and other connective tissue formation. Vitamin C, the
most important water soluble antioxidant, is good for the adrenal glands,
blood capillary walls, connective tissue (skin, ligaments, bones), gums, heart
and teeth. It is used to help with the following conditions: alcoholism,
allergies, atherosclerosis, arthritis, high cholesterol, colds, cystitis, drug
addiction, and heart disease. Ascorbic acid is pure 100 per cent vitamin C. Be
aware that high doses of ascorbic acid may initially cause stomach upset. 1/8
tsp provides 500 mg of crystalline ascorbic acid. Recommended dosage: 500 mg
to 5 gm per day.
