Modified citrus pectin is easily absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is
useful for energy metabolism as well as a laxative. It is also used in the
treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, elevated cholesterol levels and
obesity. Recommended dosage: Start with two teaspoons daily, mixed with 8 oz.
of water, juice or other liquid beverage. Gradually increase to four to six
teaspoons, or as recommended by your health care professional. For daily
